My Amazing Poupou Art

Kia ora this week in Te Ngahere we have been doing art and the type of art is poupou. We had to practice first on a A4 paper to sketch it out. When I finished my practice copy I went on my A3 paper which is bigger than the A4 paper. We had to sketch it again for our good copy the same as our other copy. It didn’t take me that long to sketch my poupou on the good copy but when it came to the vivid I was shaking a lot. After that I went on my pastels we had a colour wheel to pick our colours. I picked cool colours like green, blue, purple, yellow green and violet. For my mouth it was hard because we had to sketch a wide heart but the easiest was my body shape and my nose. For my background it’s warm colours like red, orange and yellow I hope you enjoyed my Have you sketched a poupou before?

  1. Kia ora my name is Felix and I am from Owairaka Distract School. You Might know me from comments I have made your blog before. I think your poupou is good because of all the colours. I have a question, Is he holding and ice cream or is it something else? My favourite part was the eyes they were perfectly shaped and I liked them a lot. Blog You Later

  2. Hi my name is Kora-Lynn. I really like your blog because you included a description about your art. I like to do that at home for my family or just to give a nice gift. What was your favourite part about making your Poupou?
